Good luck at the races. Wish I could be there to cheer you on at this historic inaugural event.
Who will be riding for you? Do you have a spare bike with you? How much does it weigh? Is there less rotating mass with three smaller motors? Is one reversed rotation? Is the CG as low as it can be? or are you going to develop it more?
As a former industrial designer “form follows function” And she is so beautiful she must be extremely functional indeed!
Your design and use of colour is absolutley lethal.
Are those “cassette style”, swappable batteries
similar to the racing transmissions of today?
I hope you will offer this to the public (in limited quantities of course).
I’d love to put a digital superbike beside my pristine 46 Knucklehead.
What a picture that would make!
Bravo Michael. You continue to excite the world with your breathtaking
technology and design. Please don’t ever stop, regardless of how dark
some days may seem. You have an army of fans rooting for you bro!
Simply brilliant! I can’t take my eyes off this machine!
Thank-you Michael for raising the bar once again!

You guys have done amazing things for the motorcycle world. Good luck in all of your endeavors and I cannot wait to see the production models and possibly own one.
I can’t begin to express how much I admire your project. You guys have done a remarkable job. The TTXGP has given way to some great innovative thinking by all the contenders. While yes, it is a race …. the true benefit will be the technology advances that you all have made.
I’ve been searching around for local TV coverage of not only the TTXGP but of the IOM TT itself. Speed Channel in Canada is not the same as what you see in the US. I really hope someone posts some meaningful videos of this momenteous race.
Pressure cooker 5 month but there it is! You guys have delivered! You guys have every right to be proud. I am astounded, amazed & full of admiration for your collective accomplishments

Interesting to see that they decided to move the rear brake up to the left handlebar. With such a short time to “learn” the bike I almost would have thought the rider would have preferred to keep the controls as close to the configuration found on most ICE bikes, at least for the race. I can’t wait for this race!! Congratulations!!
The bike will be riden by Mark Miller – all riders taking part are TT riders – as the course is so demanding.
We have no ’spare’ bike !! – but hopefully this will be the first of many.
Mass is really dependant on the energy on board – for this event we have ‘loaded her up’ and weighs somewhere over 500 lbs. A more normal spec for street is around 425lbs. Give us time after the TT and a full up to date spec will be released.
The three motors – one does indeed spin backwards! – motor choice was for many reasons packaging – power density – cost and also the ability to purchase the bike in various ’states of tune’ depending on requirement and budget.
The rear brake is in its normal, foot position – as the front brake is in its nomal right hand position, the left hand ‘clutch’ lever you see is regen braking – so you are right in your thinking – we kept the bike as normal as possible for the rider with the addition of regen.
Hey man that looks wonderful. Its great to see a competent electric vehicle with well packaged off the shelf parts. Are you using two different gear ratios between the three motors or are they coupled together to act as one? 30 plus miles of hard use is going to be a tough challenge but from what Ive seen of the bike this one looks most capable. Good luck and I have lots of confidence in this wild Motoczysz endeavor.
Awesome! And perhaps the best thing for MotoCzysz is that the major manufacturers are, as far as we know, nowhere near building something like this. Good luck in the race. This will for sure put MC on the map! Exciting times ahead for this company and us riders!

Michael, you have just created the ‘Mona Lisa’ of motorcycles. I am completly breathless. It looks more beautiful than i ever imagined. I cannot wait to see some more pictures and some videos. I hope it is televised here in the US of A!
Perfect theme song for this bike is: My Violent Heart by Nine Inch Nails – Year Zero album, Trent Reznor 2007.
If you read the lyrics, you will understand. It would be as if it was saying something to the ICE bikes.
Here are the lirycs:
You and I, we may look the same
But we are very far apart
There’s bullet holes where my compassion used to be
and there is violence in my heart
Into fire you can send us
From the fire we return
You can label us a consequence of how much you have to learn
WOW!! Creative, innovative, intelligently designed. When will the street version be made available, and do you have any preliminary numbers as to range / charge times?
Like the rest…OMG!!
Got to put my shades on, cause the future looks so bright!
Thanks to you Michael, my Ducati looks retarded;)
This is truly innovative and beautiful at the same time!
Is it OK with you if I take two? Want to drive one, and have one in my livingroom insted of the TV…
Michael, I think your blog has been spammed. Or some guy with a lot of time on his hands is making fun of the iphone dash.
Anyaway on to the real subject at hand. I cannot stop drooling over this bike. Why the single shock in the rear, as opposed to th duo shock set up you previously had on the C1 GP bike?

G Bell says about the pictures “We cant wait for the ones with the trophy.”
Very impressive bike. Congratulation to the MotoCzysz team and good luck at the IOM. It is exciting to see all of your ingenuity being presented here and with such beautiful packaging I must add.
I remember watching birth of a racer when MotoCzysz came out with their first bike that was to challenge motoGP. As an American I was very proud and was very sad when it appeared that all hope was lost on that project. Now I am even more excited to see MotoCzysz take their initial disappointment to a whole new level! Congratulations guys you deserve recognition for your hard work!!!
Wonderful looking bike. I hope you win. I also hope this becomes some sort of new revenue stream so that you can get back to building real bikes like your C1 for Superbike applications. You have an amazing mind and work ethic. You are a hero of mine and I hope to see MOTOCZYSZ become a world player in both Electric and Gas power bikes. Cheers and go get em!
I’m curious, the forks look like your C1 units. Are they the same spec (except for what I assume heavier springs, higher viscosity oil, and maybe modified valves). What were your concerns especially considering the pounding they’ll take on the TT circuit? As many know (or assume) the designed flex of your forks are integral to the great handling of the C1 (ie. stiff chassis/flex forks). May be I am assuming too much. But, I’d be interested in knowing.
Go get ‘em boys! Very Cool bike, and very cool race. Bring the TTXGP flag home …we need more companies like yours pioneering these technologies and getting them to the masses. You could literally change the future of US transport with a successful win and continued development for usavble electric motos. Exciting times for all of us. Great stuff Michael.
I was so happy to hear about the TTX GP. Finally electric bikes will have a chance to prove what they can do. I was equally surprised and elated to see the MotoCzysz had answered the challenge. The bike looks amazing. Good luck in the race. I have a question. I’ve been seeing a silver and orange rendition of this bike on the internet with, what looks like headlights on it. Will there be a production version of this superbike? I certainly hope so! Cheers.
Congratulations! Go get em! It is inspiring to see your team work so hard to create such a beautiful machine, have FIM change the rules and then w/o hesitation (at least visible to the public) you hunker down and create this new digital beast. Outstanding example for everyone. Good Luck at IoM! Hats off to Michael and to all of those dedicate people around you at MotoCzysz! May you and your staff achieve everything you desire in the future.
I agree with Josh on that. Your bike is easily the best one out there. It would be nice to see you win and our other American brothers Brammo and Mission One. Imagine 3 Americans on the podium! BTW Michael how big is your rider? He looks like Shrek on that thing, LOL, I am kidding!
GOOD LUCK (As if you’ll need it) and by all means be safe. I’d rather see you not win an live than die trying.
The anticipation for tomorrow’s race is killing me! The incredibly poor reporting of the week’s events is not helping matters. Exhaustive web searches provide more speculation and rumor than actual fact (like the rumor that MotoCzysz did not qualify for the race). I really hope the TTXGP organizers fix this in a big way next year. How are all the worldwide fans supposed to stay motivated when we can’t even get results?
Anyhoo…it appears that team MotoCzysz did indeed qualify and will be racing tomorrow. I wish them nothing but success! GO MOTOCZYSZ!
I wish you the best of luck in the race today! I have been following Motoczysc since 2007, and this project is and the idea and motivation behind the TTXGP is so incredible cool and forward thinking, the best yet! I wish Mark Miller and the rest of the team the best of luck, I wish I could be on the Island to cheer you on in person!
I have been fascinated and enthused about the whole MotoCzysz project from the first I heard of it. This is cutting edge stuff, and what you’ve created in such a short amount of time is truly impressive. Best of luck to the whole team.
Why is there such a total lack of coverage for the TTXGP. Is it because the networks feel that it is it a futile effort? Anyway I wish you the best of luck guys. In fact I am sure your on the course now ripping trees out of the dirt as you fly past them. I have total faith in you good luck!!!!
I’m incredibly disappointed in the lack of coverage and concern for this event. It is exactly what the world’s been holding it’s breath for. Why so little interest!? I can’t find anything of merit on this race and I can’t even find good footage. I want to know the race results and standings. I hope that more events like this race are organized so that we can finally see the proper development of electric race proven vehicles.
Did you guys start the race? I didnot see MotoCzysz’s name in the final standings of TTXGP on the website of IOM TT..I thought TTXGP would be a walk in the park for Moto Czysz
Then MotoCzysz either failed to finish the race or were 5th or less, missing the podium. Mission motors were 4th.
To be fair, the top winners were both conversion bikes (a Suzuki and a Ducati) while the third place Brammo took their existing commercial bike and tweaked it. So, more preparation and less risk and an easier time at the race.
Next year will be awesome. MotoCzysz will be the one to beat in 2010!
I just read that MotoCzysz suffered a failure of some sort prior to the first checkpoint. Unfortunate, as I think they really had an excellent chance of taking the win. With five months of prep time, I think they did a truly excellent job, and I hope they continue.
I’ve been amazed at how poor the coverage has been–the TTXGP site itself being one of the worst offenders, offering sparse updates with little detail–really a disservice to the teams involved.

Have a look & see if it’s worth 10 BP to you. Cheaper than a discount airline ticket (& you don’t have to pay to use the Loo like on RyanAir!)

Yeah, coverage was very weak. MotoCzysz has problems finishning the course in the first day of qualification, but made it on the second day.
In the TTXGP photo album of the race, you can see them start 3rd or 4rth (http://www.ttxgp.com/photos/v/2009-06-12%20TTXGP%202009%20Race/&p=6).
