Full charge C1 990 products do, how far can it go?

  2. victor osaka says:

It would be interesting to get the scoop as to what actually happened to the E1PC effort. But, more importantly, will the E1PC make it to Mid-Ohio in July???? I hope so.

  3. Brad Graham says:

Congratulations is in order to the entire MotoCzysz team for building a ground breaking machine in a few months time and racing it. Although it never crossed the finish line, that should be pushed to the back of the line. The accomplishment requires celebration. I was able to find video footage in a compilation posted to YouTube. In it you can clearly see the MotoCzysz E1 performing. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dOVOvaXoHmo

    Hi Mike n Guys,

I’m from Wales in the UK. I just want to say even tho your effort didn’t make it to the winners circle, I really think your bike looked the most professional and well finished project of them all.

We must applaud Cedric who designed and built the winning bike for the Agni Motors team, I believe you chose to use his motors as well, as they are the most efficient one on the market at the moment.

Good Luck for 2010, and I for 1 will certainly be in the market for one of these when they do hit the mass markets.

You know what I always say, don’t you? It is better to look good than to feel good, and baby you look very good. hahahaha

Well, after resting a bit, Brammo (http://twitter.com/BrammoCraig) and Mission (http://ridemission.com/blog/) have finally made posts reflecting on their results at the TTXGP. Very gracious and humble from them.

Hopefully, Michael can overcome what happened and see the bright side. The MotoCzysz is the only commercial bike that people really want. Just improve the reliability and you’re done.

  7. Brad Graham says:

Just wondering if team MotoCzysz and the E1 will be at Mid Ohio on July 24-26th weekend. Apparently there’s an organized electric race there. Visit the TTX GP site for more details.

  8. ken martens says:

Great news on the new direction for the bike, hope to see you at Laguna for MOTO GP….

  9. Isaac says:

Wow, In July you say? Man I hope I see it there, on TV of course! Micheal don’t be discouraged we are all still here to support you!!!

  10. Rhyd says:

I want this bike. I am holding onto my old 1995 600 for now, save my money until this bike is released! I want this bike. I don’t want to upgrade to an obsolete piston/combustion bike no matter how fast or cheap it is. I want this bike. Zero direct emissions, a stealthy rubber ripping sound track, the potential for huge torque. Motorcycles are the perfect platform for a technology that should soon be more flexible to package into a low CoG design, and range shouldn’t be a huge problem, as it is with cars. Did I mention that I want this bike ;)

  11. Isaac says:

YOU ARE NOT THE ONLY ONE!

  12. victor osaka says:

I think I’ll buy some Lotto tickets and invest in MotoCzysz. It certainly an exciting time in the evolution of motorcycling and a company like this needs to survive. MotoCzysz creates the bikes that create the buzz that creates the bikes!

  13. MikeInNC says:

This bike is absolutely STUNNING. Given the chance to purchase one would be a dream. I don’t have the resources to invest but I’d donate development time to help in a heartbeat.

Keep up the great work Michael and Team Motoczysz!!!

  14. Nicacio Sales says:

This bike is absolutely fantastic, zero emissions, zero sound cleam up.

  15. ken tarlton says:

Can`t wait to see this bike go into production. Sounds like i`m not the only one foaming at the mouth in anticipation. Good luck Mike and God SPEED!

  16. Makoto Sullivan says:

This it what Dreams are made from. Ideas, innovations like this has is what has made America so great. I love to see the passion that this has blossom into. I think this is a great conglomeration of people and ideas that has grown out of a dream. Remember “Never Surrender” you’ll be there one day soon. Fight the good fight! See you on the race track/road.

  17. adeilton says:

    Fantastic.
i really hope that it be made.
The world needs products of high-end/first class right now and not tomorrow !
Here in Brazil you´ll be welcome for sure.

  18. Sam Sisic says:

Michael and MotoCzysz team… Kudos! Great work!!
I’ve been glued to your progress since viewing “Birth of a Racer”… Very inspirational! I was sad to see no updates for a while and then pleasaently surprised to see your new direction… IMO, way to go!!
I’ve been working on a concept of an “In Wheel” motor and ran accross this link of a similar application I think worthy of consideration.

  19. Don says:

Hey c’mon guys where’s your loyalty to GM & the Great American Auto industry? Don’t you know there is no demand for electric vehicles? GM tried to go electric with the EV1 but nobody wanted it. Sure. And nobody wanted little reliable small cars either…starting back in the sixties with a car nobody wanted called a VW Beetle. Those idiots managers in Detroit have missed the boat so bad for so long I doubt there’s hope for the resurrection of American industry. Sad isn’t it. Not one of the “Big Three” has a decent auto under design that even comes close to the Tesla “S” sedan. And these guys are the “Giants”. The snails are leaving them in their slimy wake. Anybody can beat Detroit. Hyundai of South Korea offers cars with 100K warranty for under ten grand. The big three still think in terms of Planned Obsolescence and Perceived Obsolescence, instead of World Class Quality and Reliability and Technological Leadership. They are such LOSERS. And the banks are such rip off artists…this whole economic disaster is the banks doing. Bad predatory loans to people who were only trying to make a better life for themselves. They got suckered into a bad deal by lies about interest rate adjustment and actual cost. Then the lying bankers sold that shaky loan and millions more like them to other banks to cash in on the paper trail. Ultimately the whole paper house of cards collapsed from it’s own mediocrity and failures. I believe small businesses like this will lead the way for the rest of the industry.

Sick! this is very exciting stuff! I want to ride one!!!

  21. Sam Sisic says:

    Don…
    I couldn’t agree more!!

  22. Jaype says:

MEN I LOVE THIS BYKE! I’ve been dreaming with a HONDA CBR 600 until I meet yours.

    Couple questions:
WHAT IS THE GAS TANK FOR? CARGO BAY!
    DOES IT HUMM OR ROARR?
CAN’T YOU FIND AN EASY NAME FOR IT!
    HOW MUCH DO YOU WANT?

  23. zx119 says:

    they wanted to enter motogp
in the 800 class with a 990 how stupid of them

  24. Cajun says:

Looks like the Digital Superbike is “stillborn” like its big brother (990). Where’s an update on the electric bike Mike?

  25. Victor Ex Pilot Brazil says:

Regarding it’s sound it doesn’t roar or humm, it CZYSZSSSSSSSSSS

  26. Victor Ex Pilot Brazil says:

Why not put gears on these electric bikes? Insn’t there any gain of acceleration or final speed?

  27. victor osaka says:

Don’t be a dope. It wasn’t an 800cc class when the 990 was developed. Rules changed – bad luck timing wise.

  28. victor osaka says:

Has anyone seen the results on the eGrandPrix/TTXGP at the AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days in July? Not getting very good press coverage IMO. Wish the MotoCzysz E1pc was there to race.

  29. Patrick says:

Dont quit…. you have made it this far…

The great ones never quit.. NO MATTER WHAT.

I love what you guys have done and are capable of doing.

and I quote.. from the great Paul Bear Bryant one of the greatest coaches in american football history..

” I aint never been nothing but a winner”

  30. Jose Luis Baez says:

When you guys make these more affordable (around $30,000) and street legal, I will purchase one.

  31. Martyn says:

    I am a professional racer,
Just want to give u guys a word of encoragement, this is one of the most exciting bikes recently produced, it is sad it is sooo expensive to have come this far but go for it, I would love to ride it as Jeremy tells me it is so different.
Surprised Ben and his Bros didnt give more input, will have to chat about it when I see him at Barber in 2 weeks time, I didnt know until now that he had seen it, and I was with him at VIR only 4 weeks ago.
Well keep up the good work, get it reliable, cant wait to climb upon it one day :) maybe
    Go for it….

  32. FireBrand says:

Please keep up the good work I wish you all the best, and this world needs more companies like yours willing to stick their necks out and make new things happen.

    Whatever happened to the C1?

Wake up and Smell the Coffee…

  33. chardhin1999 says:

wonderful, just wonderful. You guys are awesome. America salutes you, now go and kick those japs ass.

  34. Kris says:

You guys remind me of me only with the money to realize your dreams. Keep on doing it for us who can’t.

By the way let me know if you ever need a hand. I might even work for free! live for perfection. I love it!!!!!! I still have faith in my country. GO USA!!!!

  35. victor osaka says:

Hey guys, why are you not using LiPo batteries instead of Li batteries?

Is the motor brushless? (”Cedric”, right?)

  36. victor osaka says:

    MotoCzysz + Bajaj = dream?

  37. Ethan Dale says:

I’m an industrial design student who has been following the MotoCzysz efforts for some time now with interest. Mr. Czysz, your efforts are deeply appreciated by many of us who wish to see motorcycle design pushing the envelope in as many axes as possible at once—I am tremendously impressed by the ep1c, and would love to see it reach production.

Keep up the fantastic work, and take heart; there are people out there rooting for you and supporting you, even if they sometimes seem invisible & inaudible.

Go in the direction of your dreams. You cannot fail.

    -Ethan Dale

  38. redwood499 says:

I would really like to know more about the state of the 990. Is it going to see production and when? How much would it take to get it into production. It took me over six months to find info about your company. I read an article and tried to tell a motor head friend about it, but couldn’t remember where I was reading. Also more info on the E1pc would be nice.

  39. Yolanda says:

doesn’t look top heavy to me. looks rear wheel drive too. I can see the belt on the right side. and Czysz knows how to design bikes. he’s a racer himself so I’m sure it handles pretty well. coolest electric bike I’ve seen.

  40. victor osaka says:

I wonder why the low profile… Anyone care to speculate as to why MC has not been in the press lately?

I’d sure like to know if things are moving forwards.

  41. Chris says:

Wow, that’s really a nice looking machine, which is an area that’s definitely lacking in most electric bikes. I’d actually be proud to ride that!

  42. victor osaka says:

    OMG! Fricken Amazing!

But, I STILL think you need to investigate LiPo

    MotoCzysz 100HP Plug’nPlay e-Powertrain
    http://www.passionperformance.ca/motorcycle/galleries/7049/

    March 1, 2010

    By Cycle Canada

MotoCzysz has developed a plug-and-play electric motorcycle powertrain called the Electric D1g1tal Dr1ve (eDD) claiming 100 hp and 250lb/ft of torque. With figures like those, the new e-motor has a distinct performance advantage over rival offerings from companies such as Agni (last year’s TTXGP winner) and Mavizen (TTXGP founder Azhar Hussain’s outfit). Added to that is the fact that it is currently the only in e-racer powerplant in the world to feature hot swappable batteries. The eDD, a.k.a. “the suitcase” houses a proprietary controller, motor, and 8 batteries. MotoCzysz will be using the eDD on their 2010 E1pc D1g1tal Superbike, which they’ve entered into the 2010 Isle of Man TT Zero, and in an effort to help fill the grid they’re offering the game changing e-powertrain to other teams as well.

Available with or without batteries MotoCzysz’s suitcase chassis has been designed to be highly adaptable and allow modular motorcycle construction. The eDD can be mated with virtually any existing litrebike swingarm and front end of the user’s choosing.

As further incentive to e-racer privateers, MotoCzysz is offering a $10,000 sponsorship to the first 15 teams to purchase an eDD system, reducing the cost of the complete suitcase with batteries from $42,500 to $32,500 (USD). A batteryless eDD can also be had for $25,000.

  43. Just checking back for updates. Bad ass bike all the same.

  44. n washington says:

I am inspired by the courageousness of the enitre MotoCzysz team effort and applaud your success. The technology that was produced during the design/build process of this magnificant machine will change the way MotoGP and Sportbike bike design is approached in the future.

The C1 is definetly an “Outside of the Box” design approach. Sometime the wheel needs to be reinvented.

What an amazing American story. Micheal…..keep up the good work, myfriend!

  45. good article, i will add my feeds.

  46. Victor Osaka says:

IOM ZeroTT – Congratulations team MotoCzysz and Mark Miller!!!
